For cats, we require proof of FKLV and Rabies that is valid during the time of your stay. Bordetella is reccommended but not required due to the overall decreased risk of respiratory illnesses in cats.
Bordetella ("Kennel cough") is not considered a common core vaccine for cats and you may have to ask your veterinarian for it by name. While cats from different families are never exposed to one another during their stay at our hotel, being away from home brings the risk of exposure to many new sights and smells, including pathogens, so it is not uncommon for cats to recieve this vaccine if their veterinarian knows they are going to be staying at a pet hotel or traveling away from home for an extended period.
Bordetella is optional but reccommended at least 7 days in advance of your baby's stay for maximum protection.
We strongly recommend bringing your own food from home, labeled for meals 2x per day, morning and evening. You can also bring any amount of treats that you'd like with instructions on when you'd like them given and we will ensure they're given.
If your cat only eats once per day, has dietary restrictions or other special concerns (such as not allowed to have treats or food allergies), please let us know in advance of your reservation and include written instructions for our staff.
We feed raw diets, custom meals, and homemade cat food all the time. Typically, all raw and homemade food is frozen in a chest freezer until the day before use for maximum freshness and food safety. If your meals have different requirements, please contact us ahead of your stay to ensure your baby is fed exactly the way you expect.
