For dogs, we require proof of valid Bordetella, Rabies, and DAPP/DHPP (also known as the "5 in 1" common core vaccine).
We reccommend Bordetella at least 7 days in advance of your pets stay for maximum protection, and rabies at least 3 months in advance of your stay for compliance with Clark County regulations. Puppies must finish their final series of vaccines before they can stay with us.
We must have valid proof of vaccines on file for your dog for them to join their doggy friends in the play parks. We rotate dogs in the play parks starting at 8AM. In the evenings after 4PM, dogs go out 1 at a time (or with other dogs from the same family) for potty breaks and light play only, as we try to keep a calm enviornment in the evenings to get all of the pets to sleep.
We use toys in our play parks. If your dog is overly posessive of toys around other dogs, please let us know. We do not use food or treats in the parks
We strongly recommend bringing your own food from home labeled for meals 2x per day, morning and evening. You can also bring any amount of treats that you'd like with instructions on when you'd like them given and we will ensure they're given. For example, some customers request a "midday snack" of a bone or chew which we are happy to give as long as you provide it!
All dogs are fed either in their rooms or in separate kennels to ensure everyone is eating enough. Dogs are kept in their rooms with their food for at least 1 hour to ensure they have enough time to eat. If your pet doesn't eat all of their food, we take notes and ensure to offer them more food at dinner time to make up for it. It is common that pets will not eat the first 12-24 hours of their stay due to excitement, new friends, and a new enviornment, but if your pet is a particularly fussy eater, please let us know.
We do not advise feeding rawhide or rawhide based products, even "chipped" rawhide.
Feeding a raw diet, custom meal, or homemade food of any kind is no problem at all. Please ensure you provide instructions on when and how to feed your meals. Typically, all raw and homemade food is frozen in a chest freezer until the day before use for maximum freshness and food safety. If your meals have different requirements, please contact us ahead of your stay to ensure your baby is fed exactly the way you expect them to be.
